I am an experienced BABCP fully Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) and an Integrative Counsellor
with 20 years experience working therapeutically within the NHS,
in both primary and secondary care settings .
​
My Psychology background significantly enhances my clinical work.
​
​
I also have experience of supervising CBT trainees and qualified therapists .
​​
I am an approachable, compassionate therapist with a down to earth therapeutic style.
My therapy sessions are engaging but reflective.
I always tailor my clinical work to my clients’ individual needs and their personal style.
Throughout the years, I have been trained in a number of therapeutic modalities but I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy .
I also enhance my clinical work with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in particular.

I have full accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).
I have special interest in women's psychological health and many years experience of working therapeutically with people with a range of mental health difficulties including:

depression, post -natal depression and anxiety, managing menopausal symptoms anxiety, stress, burnout, panic attacks, excessive worry/GAD, post -traumatic symptoms including PTSD, intrusive unwanted thoughts and compulsive behaviours/OCD, excessive health worries, Social Anxiety, distorted self- image including BDD, various phobias, low self-worth, grief reaction, adjusting to living with long term conditions.

- Pg Diploma in Integrative Counselling at London Metropolitan University (2008)
